1.How do I update the firmware of device?
Users can update all firmware on all amaran Fixtures wirelessly. You can pick single devices or batch upgrade as a group. These firmware updates will enhance features and/or enhance the connection. Checking for these updates on a regular basis will ensure the best experience on the amaran App.
Note: Make sure you are on Wifi to ensure proper updates. Internet Connection is needed.
- Access the fixture management menu on the fixtures list page and select "Firmware Update". Click “Upgrade Now” to start install.
Update will take 3-5 minutes per fixture and must remain in the app to complete update.
- You can also upgrade “All” Devices by doing a “Batch Upgrade” This will scan all devices connected for an update and allow you to select them to all update at once. By tapping the ellipses of the “All” panel you can tap “Batch Upgrade” and select all devices available for upgrade. The progress will be shown as they are updating.
Note:
- Firmware updates require internet access. Please keep the App online.
- Updating may be unsuccessful in some situations. In the event of a failed update, please try again.
- If you are consistently unsuccessful with updating firmware, please reset your fixture and try again.
